How Care Is Delivered (Delivery Model)
-
Mobile Home‑Based Care (by referral)
Our veterinary teams travel to eligible clients’ homes when mobility or disability limits access to a traditional clinic. Services may include examinations, basic diagnostics within scope, treatment plans, and prescribing/dispensing where appropriate. -
Community Health Clinics
Pop‑up wellness days and public‑health style clinics delivered with municipal and health partners. Typical offerings include reduced‑cost rabies vaccination, microchipping, wellness exams, basic treatments, and prescriptions as indicated.
Following referral and assessment, care may be provided through a home visit, a community clinic appointment, and/or telemedicine when clinically appropriate.
All veterinary services are provided by Patterson Barnes Veterinary Medicine Professional Corporation (PBVMPC). A valid VCPR (Veterinarian‑Client‑Patient Relationship) is established with PBVMPC in accordance with Ontario legislation and College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO) guidelines.
