She has always had an interest in medicine, loves helping people, and taking care of their pets.

What she enjoy most about her job is giving all the cuddles and treats to our patients, talking to clients, and observing all the procedures.

While she love all animals, she’s definitely a self-proclaimed cat person and has two cats at home.

When she’s not working she likes to read, spend time outside, and stay active with Yoga or Pilates classes.

Jess can’t wait to meet our clients and help their furry family members for years to come!

Georgia graduated from the Animal Care program at Durham College in 2023. She’s worked in Shelter Medicine, Emergency and Critical Care before joining the team at Vets Around the Corner. Her biggest interests in veterinary medicine are laser therapy and nutrition.

On her off days you can find her spending time with her 3 dogs and 4 cats, reading or horseback riding. She hopes to have a horse (or a farm?!) of her own one day. Georgia grew up with German Shepherds and LOVES them … so if there is one in the clinic, she probably isn’t far away!
