1. Mobile Veterinary Unit (In Progress)
We are in the process of retrofitting a retired ambulance into a fully functional mobile exam room. This unit will allow our team to bring compassionate veterinary care directly to those in need—including individuals facing housing insecurity, seniors in retirement facilities, and clients with mobility challenges—throughout Durham Region.

2. Pilot Clinics at Retirement Homes
In collaboration with local retirement residences and community agencies, we are launching onsite veterinary wellness clinics. These clinics provide seniors and their companion animals access to preventative and urgent care services, without the need to travel.

3. Emergency Assistance Fund
We’re working with community partners to establish a fund to support emergency veterinary care for animals belonging to individuals facing financial hardship. This fund will provide limited, needs-based subsidies for urgent care cases.

4. Community Outreach & Partnerships
We continue to build meaningful partnerships with frontline service providers, social service organizations, and local municipalities to ensure that the care we provide is integrated, accessible, and impactful. These collaborations ensure that clients are properly screened and referred for subsidized services through trusted partner agencies.
